The Challenge
The siding had weathered to a worn gray, with paint peeling down to bare wood on the walls, trim and rear porch. The tall walls, gable and dormer needed ladder work on every side of the house.
The Work
- Scraped loose paint, cleaned and spot-primed bare wood on the siding and trim
- Painted the body a bold blue with white trim, window casings, corner boards and fascia
- Painted the porch columns, railings and lattice skirting white
- Repainted the porch ceiling white and the porch floor gray
- Painted the rear porch and entry
- Worked the upper walls, gable and dormer from extension ladders
We follow a production standard built over years of residential painting: trim and doors first, and careful prep on every surface.
The Result
The house went from tired and peeling to one of the brightest on the block. The blue body and white trim highlight the porch and the home’s original details, and the fresh coating protects the wood siding for years to come.
